1. Summary at a Glance

• Zero permanent palm photo storage: Your palm photograph is kept in your browser memory and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS solely when you consent and request an AI reading. Veyra does not save, archive, or index your palm photos in any database.
• No biometric identification: Veyra analyzes visible palmar creases and hand proportions for symbolic, reflective palmistry only—never for biometric identity verification, fingerprinting, or tracking.
• Local-first session state: Your onboarding answers (first name, birth date, birth time, birthplace, and reading focus) are stored locally in your browser so you can refresh without losing progress, and can be cleared in one click below.

2. Data We Process & Why

When you use Veyra, we process only the minimum information required to generate your reading:

• First Name & Reading Intent: Used strictly to address you personally and tailor the reflective focus of your reading.
• Birth Date, Birth Time & Birthplace: Used to resolve geographic coordinates and IANA time zone (via Open-Meteo GeoNames geocoding) and calculate planetary longitudes, aspects, and house cusps.
• Palm Photograph (Explicit Consent Required): Pre-checked locally in your browser using on-device MediaPipe hand landmarking, then transmitted once to the Google Gemini API to trace and interpret major palm lines (Heart, Head, Life, Fate), hand morphology, and micro-signs.

3. Sub-processors & Third-Party Services

• Google Gemini API (Google LLC): Processes the palm photograph and structured chart data on demand to generate the visual line overlay and interpretive reading.
• Open-Meteo Geocoding API: Resolves city names to latitude, longitude, and historical time zone without transmitting any personal identifiers.

4. Local Browser Storage & One-Click Erasure

Veyra uses your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage to preserve your current reading step on your device. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or cross-site profiling cookies. You can wipe all locally saved data from this browser at any time:

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because Veyra does not maintain permanent user accounts or store palm images on its servers, clearing your browser storage immediately removes your reading data.
